Kitchen & Bath Projects to Bring in the Spring Season

In a recent report from the National Kitchen & Bath Association, roughly one in 10 households undertook a kitchen remodel or replacement project during 2015. Similarly, a bathroom remodel yields a 64 percent return, making an upgrade an easy decision.

Updating a kitchen or bathroom can range from small tweaks to a complete renovation, and Spring is the prime renovation season. This quick list can help you determine where to start helping your clients plan and execute their remodel:

Freshen up the paint

Whether your clients would like to stay consistent or add a pop of color, this app provides a close match to just about anything you take a picture of with your smartphone.

Upgrade fixtures

A remodel is the perfect opportunity to wow clients through the latest advancements in fixtures such as toilets, showerheads and faucets. Instead of going to the spa, homeowners can now create their own spa-like experience in their bathroom.

Water-Sense certified products can provide the ideal combination of sustainable performance and visual appeal without a huge investment. The Glacier Bay Aragon Tub and Shower Faucet and Dual Flush Toilet are practical and highly efficient options for conserving water and saving your clients money in the long run.

Customize cabinetry and vanities

Revamped cabinetry and vanities can make a unique stamp in the most frequented areas of the home. An excellent way to increase the value of the home, there are plenty ways to update and upgrade these complementary furniture items without completely replacing them.

An upgrade as simple as replacing old hardware can make a world of difference. This can include exchanging knobs for pulls on kitchen cabinets, with models such as the Liberty Satin Nickel Davidson Cup Pull or Liberty Silverton Polished Chrome Cabinet Pull guaranteed to perform. You also can consider modernizing with hinges and soft-close/doors and drawers to give outdated cabinets new appeal, and add youth to cabinets by repainting or refacing with a new stylish, veneer.

Replace countertops and backsplashes

Granite countertops remain a popular upgrade for the modern kitchen. While granite tends to cost more on average to implement, it also achieves a look that stands out.
